Apprentice IT Administrator at MaibornWolff
I'm Mike — currently in my IT apprenticeship at MaibornWolff in Munich. My day job sits at the intersection of infrastructure and development: keeping Kubernetes clusters healthy, setting up CI/CD pipelines that deploy code without drama, and watching Grafana dashboards so nobody else has to.
I love infrastructure, but AI is the other half of what gets me excited. I spend a lot of my time building with LLMs — agents, CLI tools, self-hosted chat setups, automations that wire models into real workflows — and figuring out how to run all of that on infrastructure I control.
Outside the office I build small apps and CLIs — things like fuel-price dashboards and automation scripts — mostly because I find it more satisfying to run something in production than to describe it on a slide deck. I use Next.js and TypeScript for web stuff, Swift when I want something native, and whatever shell glue gets the job done for everything else.
I care about systems that are easy to understand, easy to hand off, and hard to break accidentally. Reliable, boring in the best way, and pleasant to keep running.

Fuely pulls live fuel-price data from the Tankerkönig API and presents it on an interactive map. You can filter by station, fuel type, and radius, see a price-history chart for any station, and get a quick sense of where prices are trending in your area. It updates every few minutes.
Built with Next.js 14, TypeScript, Leaflet for the map, and a lightweight Supabase backend that caches API responses so the Tankerkönig rate limit isn't hit on every page load. Deployed as a Docker container behind a Caddy reverse proxy on my Proxmox homelab.
